| Where is Hamilton, Montana? Hamilton is a small rural ranching/timber community which lies in the far western edge of Montana, 50 miles south of Missoula. It is located in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley between the Bitterroot and Sapphire mountain ranges. We are in close proximity (250 miles) of Glacier (to the north) and Yellowstone (to the southeast) National Parks. We highly recommend extending your stay to include enough time to tour both. What is the nearest city to fly into? Missoula International Airport. Transportation from the airport to Hamilton is the responsibility of each participant. Car rental or taxi is recommended, as there is no consistent public transit between Hamilton and Missoula to date. Where will I stay? There are a variety of hotel/motels in the Bitterroot Valley. A motel & Bed & Breakfast list is included in your registration packet. Participants are responsible for all meals. For information about other accomodations you may contact the Bitterroot Valley Chamber of Commerce. What is the weather like? |
